1. What is the Hill Country Solar Eclipse Festival?

The Hill Country Solar Eclipse Festival is a once-in-a-lifetime event coinciding with the 2024 solar eclipse. This immersive festival offers prime viewing of the eclipse, along with a host of other activities including access to a scenic overlook, planetarium showings, and beer and wine tastings. Overnight packages offer a full weekend of events and activities in a beautiful and serene setting.

2. How much do tickets cost for the festival?

Day tickets for the festival cost $200 for guest 12+ and $50 for kids under 12. This includes access to all the day’s events and activities between the hours of 11am-5pm. We also offer overnight packages that include a full weekend of events and activities, with prices starting at $1600 for lodging for four people.

3. What is included in the cost?

Access to Lucky Arrow’s exclusive scenic overlook in the path of the totality of the eclipse, planetarium showings, beer and wine tastings, music, family friendly activities and more.

4. Will safe viewing equipment be provided?

Absolutely! Your safety is our top priority. We will provide all attendees with certified safe solar eclipse viewing glasses.

5. What is included in the overnight packages?

Our overnight packages provide a full weekend of activities and events including luxury camping, VIP access to extra events, as well as all the amenities and activities offered with the day tickets.

6. Is the festival suitable for children?

Yes, the festival is a family-friendly event. However, children must be supervised at all times, especially during the eclipse viewing to ensure they use the viewing glasses correctly.

7. Will there be food and beverages available at the festival?

Yes, food and beverages will be available for purchase onsite at Lucky Arrow Retreat and/or neighboring vineyard, Bell Springs that has a full kitchen. The properties are connected and you will be able to access their restaurant. 

8. Can I bring my own food and drink?

Overnight guests have access to coolers or refrigerators in their unit. While we will have a variety of food and drink options available, including beer and wine tastings, you are welcome to bring your own snacks and refreshments to be consumed in your cabin. For day ticket holders, no outside food or beverages is allowed.

9. Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, due to the high demand for this once-in-a-lifetime event, we strongly recommend booking your tickets in advance to secure your spot. Space is limited. 

10. What if the weather is bad on the day of the eclipse?

The festival will go ahead rain or shine. We have contingency plans in place for bad weather, and all our activities are designed to be adaptable. We want to ensure you have an unforgettable experience, regardless of the weather. Tickets are non-refundable.
